What a beautiful house. Large well-lit rooms that make you feel really comfortable throughout. Even an extensive library and piano. You are a great host, Rob, and Molly is one pooch in a million, a warm and wonderful spotted dog. A very memorable visit. Also a beautiful and intimate town with lots of historical interest and a great deal of natural history surrounding it, bird, rocks and minerals, rare ferns - the works. Thanks again, Rob, Don Baxter

Hi Rob, Scott, & Molly, Just a note to note how noteworthy our weekend was. What a super host Molly is. How nice it was to reconnect with the two of you. Wonderful sleeps, great breakfasts, fun time, and the best friends one could have! Ottawa was so good, it must become an annual event. It's nice to know that after skating the Rideau, there will always be a restful home to return to at the Spotted Dog B & B. Thanks so much! Jack (Jetse)

Oops not sure if I signed or not. We loved our weekend in your charming, quaint and HUGE house. The pool is exquisite. Rob you are a wonderful host. You seemed to really enjoy entertaining. The breakfast was just fabulous, absolutely fabulous. You made our first B&B experience unforgetable. Thank you. We look forward to coming back again real soon. Oh and by the way, I read the other guestbook emails - Ironically enough, we are South African too - but it is pure coincidence.

Thanks SO MUCH for the warm, welcoming visit we had with you this past weekend. The accommodations were great, the breakfast was fantastic and the comfort level was very high! I'm sure it all helped Erin win her medal at the volleyball tournament we were attending in Madoc! My only suggestion - update the pictures of your bedrooms on your website - they look much nicer "in person". Thanks again!

Hello Rob and Scott The web site and newsletter are wonderful. Isn't there some way you can incorporate all the work you do in promoting the community i.e. the addition to the Library, the campaign to put in an elevator at St. Peter's Church, working at the community Christmas dinner...... The two of you are not only business owners, you are generous, treasured members of the community. We're glad you decided to settle in Madoc! Welcome home.

Rob, Enjoyed your newsletter. The pictures took me back to our visit last summer. Hope to get up there this summer for the Heritage Day weekend as I still have some searching to do on the Browns. All the best, and hi to Molly... Fran, Elizabeth Murphy (Elmo and Mercy)
